Working primarily in abstract forms, I explore color, movement, and texture across a wide range of media, including stained glass, resin, acrylic paint, and alcohol inks.
After retiring and relocating to Florida nearly ten years ago, I began a dedicated artistic practice, discovering a deep passion for creative expression later in my life. The vibrant light, color and energy of the Florida landscape continue to influence my work particularly in the layering, transparency, fluidity, and color found throughout my pieces.
Unbound by a single medium or method, I embrace abstraction as a way to invite , encouraging viewers to connect emotionally and find their own meaning within each artwork.
I also enjoy teaching others how to use the various types of media to create their own unique art. One way I do this is by teaching classes once a month in our community.
