As a native of the Netherlands, born and raised in Amsterdam, I moved to Bradenton with my family in 2005.
I have always been creative and designed and made my own clothes, since I was in High school.
I took my first pottery class in 2008, and was hooked on clay immediately.
I love to make functional pieces on the pottery wheel.
My work is inspired by the South Western Native American pottery, more recently I started to experiment with more “earthy” firing techniques like Raku, Horse hair, Saggar and Obvara.
