Elaine Vaughn designs and assembles custom jewelry that she says her female customers can use to complement almost any outfit. Vaughn fashions necklaces, bracelets, rings and other adornments with intricate details and designs using pearls, seashells, gems, charms, crystals, silver, gold and the tiniest of tiny beads. A single necklace can take almost a month to complete.
She and her husband, Joe, moved to Lakewood Ranch from Roanoke, Virginia, 13 years ago. She treats each piece as if it is to be regarded by its eventual proud owner as an heirloom.
